Job Summary

Reporting to the US Head of Marketing, this individual will play a key role in NS Pharma’s growth through establishing and managing launch readiness process and yearly brand planning for established brands. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing launch strategies, ensuring cross-functional alignment, and driving successful product launches through brand planning, execution, and post-launch excellence.

The Director of Launch Excellence and Brand Planning will be responsible for building, tracking and monitoring launch readiness planning and execution activities across all commercial functions. This responsibility includes collaborating with NSP’s external program management vendor/partner, providing guidance, assessing quality of deliverables necessary for the development of go-to-market launch plan/yearly brand plan. Execution includes ensuring that infrastructure and resources are available and regularly provide updates regarding each launch. Works with cross functional project management individuals to effectively align workflows and communications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Key Responsibilities and Skills:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and refine launch plans, including market access strategies, timelines, and KPIs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various teams (marketing, sales, market access, med affairs, operations, regulatory, etc.) to ensure alignment and execution.
  • Launch Excellence: Implement best practices and frameworks for launch planning and execution, focusing on efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Brand Management: Develop and maintain brand plans, ensuring consistent messaging and execution across all channels.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Track launch performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide insights to support decision-making.
  • Project Management: Manage launch timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Industry Knowledge: Possess a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Leadership and Communication: Lead and influence cross-functional teams, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and present ideas persuasively.
  • Agile Mindset: Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapting to changing priorities.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyze data and identify trends to inform strategic decisions and improve launch performance.

  • Travel Approximately 10%.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree In health care, business administration, program management or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Certificates/certifications In PMP, Scrum highly desirable.
  • 12+ years of experience In the pharmaceutical industry or related experience with project management and launch planning experience.
  • Advanced knowledge Of and proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and PMP tools.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills Across departments to deliver complex initiatives having cross-functional impact.
  • Launch experience Including commercialization of new therapeutic products required, Rare Disease, Neuroscience and global experience a plus.
  • Understanding of the commercial process And the principles, concepts, practices, and standards of pharmaceutical program/project management.
